Digital Product Development
Discovery, design, and build for new products. We turn a rough concept into a scoped roadmap and a working release your users can actually touch.
What this actually involves
Most products fail on scope rather than code. The build is tractable once the problem, the user, and the first release are defined precisely enough to argue with.
We run discovery to the point where a roadmap can be costed, then design and build the first release against it.
What you end up with
- A defined problem, user, and success measure
- Interface designs and a working prototype
- A released MVP in production
- Analytics wired in so the next decision has evidence
In scope
The concrete pieces of work this engagement covers.
Product discovery and scope definition
Interface design and prototyping
MVP build and release engineering
Analytics and iteration loop
Questions we get asked
What if we only need discovery?
That is a valid engagement on its own. You get the research, architecture, and costed plan, and you are free to build it with anyone.
Do you do the design as well as the build?
Yes. Interface design and engineering run together rather than as a handoff between separate vendors.
How do we know the scope is right?
You do not, at the start. That is why the first release is deliberately small and instrumented, so the second one is informed.
